Before earning my Masters in Counseling, I earned a PhD in social and personality psychology. This background deeply informs how I show up as a therapist. I help clients address unresolved trauma and grief, anxiety and OCD, address relationship issues, as well as "problems of everyday living." My style is active, engaged, and practical.
Whatever you are struggling with, you don't have to work through it on your own. The answers are within reach and therapy can provide a meaningful way to heal and connect.
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing online telehealth and outdoor therapy, including Walk and Talk therapy. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist and a certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist.
I support adults and adolescents navigating:
• Complex, single-incident, and developmental trauma
• Anxiety, depression, stress management, and work-life balance
• Grief, loss, and life transitions
• Domestic violence and women’s issues
I am a therapist serving children, families and adults navigating anxiety, depressive symptoms, relationship issues and life adjustments. Sometimes you need a little help navigating life stressors, obstacles or discovering healthy forms of coping skills. I received my Bachelors at San Francisco State University in Psychology and completed my Masters at California State University East Bay in Counseling with a concentration in Marriage Family Therapy.
My work centers queer and transgender preteens, teens, and adults, as well as individuals with current or past foster care involvement. My clients may be feeling overwhelmed, questioning their identity, or don't know where to start with therapy. I can support you by helping you notice patterns and build trust in your own process.
