I believe that we are experts in our own lives and that we possess an inner wisdom within us to guide us. We might get out of balance through our life's journey and become disconnected from our authentic self, which may cause symptoms of depression and anxiety. Having assistance would be helpful to navigate through difficult emotions, life transitions and traumatic events we may experience so we can return home to ourselves. I view the counseling experience as a partnership. I act as a guide, providing a safe space and tools to assist you in becoming clear, grounded, centered and better equipped to make choices that are right for you.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a graduate of the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work. I work with people navigating trauma, PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, and the emotional impact of serious illness and medical trauma, and I have specialized training in EMDR and Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAP). As an Army veteran and mother of a childhood cancer survivor, I bring both professional experience and personal understanding of resilience, uncertainty, and life’s unexpected challenges. Most importantly, I strive to create a space where you feel respected, understood, and able to be fully yourself.
