Welcome! I am a open-minded, caring, and energetic therapist with a background in treating a variety of mental health concerns. I have had my private practice for about 10 years. Prior to private practice, I was working in the substance abuse field and treated occurring disorders for 10 years. I love working with clients to identify and understand their strengths and how to use them to build a quality life with continued growth.
I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and I offer psychiatric services through Telehealth, allowing clients to attend appointments from the comfort and privacy of their own space.
Starting mental health care can feel overwhelming, and many people seek support when they feel stressed, stuck, or unsure how to cope. Together, we’ll work to understand your challenges and develop strategies that support healing, resilience, and lasting emotional well-being.
Hi, I’m Peter, and I’m really glad you’re here! I believe therapy should feel safe, supportive, and human — not intimidating or clinical. I have training in Mental Health Counseling and experience supporting people with trauma, anxiety, depression,ADHD, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I work at a pace that feels right for you, and my goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and never judged — just supported as you work toward feeling better.
I am a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing care to adolescents and adults through a warm, holistic, and evidence-based approach. I completed my Family Nurse Practitioner training at Long Island University and later advanced my training with a post master’s certification in psychiatric mental health at Liberty University. My background across urgent care and outpatient settings has allowed me to care for a wide range of conditions, while recognizing the strong connection between physical health, anxiety, depression, and overall emotional well-being.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, stress, and life transitions, including those managing both medical and mental health conditions.
