Hi, I'm Nicole, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Westchester County with over 20 years experience. I work with clients throughout NYC and New York State.I believe therapy should feel approachable and real—not intimidating or overly clinical.
My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, explore what's not working, and develop practical tools to create meaningful change in your life. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, navigating a difficult transition, or simply feeling stuck, I'm here to support you.
I provide evidence-based therapy for anxiety, depression, and life transitions in a calm supportive space.
I’m Dr. Gina Sissoko, a licensed clinical psychologist passionate about helping women—especially Black women, immigrant women, and high-achieving professionals—heal from trauma, manage stress, and create lives that feel balanced and authentic.
My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in both science and cultural awareness. Hello, I began my career servicing individuals with my role of a “caseworker” forty years ago in 1986. With a B.A. in Liberal Arts I was able to help with the emotional and concrete needs of many community members. By 1997 I obtained my Masters In Social Work and immediately after my license. As a LCSW practitioner I have engaged and provided agency/personal intakes, crisis intervention, program development and directorship; Despite gaining managerial experience throughout my career, I’ve done individual therapy, family sessions, couples work and group work. The ages ranged five to seventy eight years old. For the last three years I have been engaging in telehealth therapy servicing individuals, from adolescence to adulthood and couples.
I’m a formerly harsh self-critic and PhD psychologist with 30+ years of experience. I blend Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindful Self-Compassion. If you struggle with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem or relationship problems, I’m here to help.
Through therapy, you'll learn to stop judging yourself so harshly, let go of guilt, shame and blame, and treat yourself with the same kindness you show others. I help you believe in yourself and take action, even when you’re feeling anxious.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who offers caring, evidence-based medication management across the lifespan. I focus on treating ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety disorders, panic disorder, and insomnia, and I work closely with each person to understand their unique experiences and goals.
I believe mental health care should be supportive, never rushed or judgmental. My approach is patient-centered and practical. I take time to listen, explain your options, and include you in every treatment decision. Whether you are starting medication, making changes to your current plan, or seeking more balance and clarity, I want you to feel heard and empowered.
My therapeutic method is tailored to fit your temperament and individual experience. You may be facing a combination of personal, social, and institutional adversity. Discomfort may be unavoidable, but you are not alone; I can help you transform hardship or tragedy into resilience. My process is effective; it evolves as you do. If you experience negative feelings like inadequacy, grief, or shame, I can help you understand the origin of the discomfort and make changes toward ease. Sometimes, worry can be helpful; other times, anxiety and depression lie to us. Having worked in both economically-strained and prosperous communities, I have seen the impact of trauma and neglect on various people. I also understand being a white male can insulate me against the prejudice and discrimination commonly experienced by people of color, women, and the LGBTQ community; I trust my client’s experiences and take responsibility for my blind spots.
When life changes, you need someone who’s lived it too.
I help adults navigating major life transitions — including divorce, grey divorce, identity shifts, dating and relationship challenges. Together we find clarity, steadiness, and a grounded sense of self again.
Life can shift in ways you never expected. I understand the disorientation that comes with midlife change, including divorce, evolving relationships, and moments where you suddenly wonder how you got here. I do this work because no one should have to sort through those moments alone.
I’ve rebuilt my identity, navigated changing relationships, and learned how to move forward when everything felt uncertain.
