Through an approachable, engaging style which brings humor, compassion and an unrelenting belief that things can get better, I strive to help clients develop effective patterns of thought and skills in order to achieve greater success and satisfaction in their lives and relationships. As a trauma specialist, I've cultivated a compassion and broad understanding of experiences & biological responses that inform our mental-emotional well-being.
I view therapy as a collaborative journey toward personal growth and fulfillment. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences, and where we can work together to build meaningful, practical solutions for a more fulfilling future.
I'm a clinical psychologist who got my PsyD from LIU Post and did my postdoc at UCLA DGSOM. I work with the lifespan (children, adolescents, adults, couples), topics such as gender health, substance misuse, neurodiversity, OCD, trauma, and BPD.
What if you had the time and space to understand the root of your inner self-critic and feelings of guilt? What if you could understand how it shows up in your emotional response, ability to be confident, and how you connect in relationships? I bring compassion and curiosity to create this time and space for you. Together we work to understand all aspects of who you are, how it contributes to feelings of anxiety and depression, and guide you to live with a natural feeling of confidence in yourself.

Great to meet you!
I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist and have been practicing psychiatry since 2017. I work with adults from diverse backgrounds, including professionals, students, parents, women, men, and LGBTQ+ clients, who may be navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma/PTSD, insomnia, OCD, perinatal mental health, stress, or major life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, evidence-based, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed. I offer psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, telehealth, and second opinions, with a focus on helping you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work toward meaningful change.
I am a warm and empathic licensed clinical psychologist with a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva University and over 10 years of training and experience in and around New York City, including internship and fellowship at Zucker Hillside Hospital. I work with adults both younger and older in individual psychotherapy. Whether you are facing challenges coping with life transitions and major stressors, or struggling with low mood, depression, anxiety, overwhelm, relationship conflict, feelings of shame, guilt, confusion, or difficulty finding personal meaning, I can help you. I’ve worked with clients who are struggling with conflict in their families, at work, or in their social circles, as well as those navigating grief and loss, perinatal and reproductive issues, and adjustment to challenging life stages such as early adulthood, retirement, and parenthood. I want you to know that no matter the struggle, pain, or challenge you are facing, you do not need to walk this path alone.
I believe that you and I will work as a team to find the best solutions for you. I am so glad that you have made the hardest step in therapy- seeking help. In the time that I have been practicing, I have had many types of clients with many different issues they wanted to address with my help. I like to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the start of our time together.
