Top therapists in New York accepting new patients
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree from the New York University Silver School of Social Work. I have extensive experience supporting individuals and families experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
My professional background includes working with individuals and families helping them strengthen relationships, manage stress, and build healthier coping strategies. I am passionate about helping people feel empowered, supported, and capable of creating meaningful change in their lives.
I offer therapy in English and Spanish and welcome individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Taking the first steps towards finding a therapist you “click” with can be intimidating (and exhausting), so I give you tons of credit for getting this far.
I work with women who are ready to understand themselves and their relationships on a deeper level. Some have spent years in therapy and still feel stuck in familiar patterns. They may understand where their struggles come from, have done the reading and self-reflection, and be able to explain their patterns—but still find themselves repeating them.
Others are coming to therapy for the first time, often later in life, and are beginning to ask questions they've never had the space to explore. After years of focusing on other people, responsibilities, relationships, or simply getting through life, they may be ready to turn inward, understand themselves more deeply, and consider what they want for this next chapter.
While their experiences may be different, these women share a desire to look beneath the surface. Together, using a Schema Therapy lens, we explore how past experiences have shaped the way you relate to yourself and others, what's driving familiar patterns, and what may be getting in the way of the relationships and life you want.
We'll figure this out together. I'll bring clinical expertise, curiosity, and honesty; you'll bring your experience of yourself. We use both.
“We are never more fully alive, more completely ourselves or more deeply engrossed in anything than when we are playing”. -Charles Schaefer. Play is vital for children to express themselves and learn about their surroundings and general environment. In addition to exploration, it is essential for their development. Allowing the space for them to play freely generates the possibility of understanding their world and their motivation. Instead of the traditional format of communication, we often learn more about a child's thoughts, feelings, motivations, and struggles by watching them play.
To be able to give a child power, motivation, and confidence will set the foundation for a successful life. Often times when dealing with a traumatic situation and learning to deal and cope with it effectively, allows a child (or anyone for that matter) to become the best versions of themselves and learn to move forward.
Play Therapy sessions with a Licensed clinician that cares and helps create a safe place. I guide my clients and their parents every step of the way and implement various methods to help them develop new attitudes towards all of life’s most complex matters. The works I do benefits children coming from abusive homes and dealing with some of those challenges.
I am a certified mental health and family practice provider. I value you as a person, your confidentiality and your determination. Together we can make a difference
My name is Dr. Aldridge, and it is a pleasure to meet you! I began my career as a school psychology with the hopes of helping children and adolescents cope through times of stress. My overall goals and passions can be summed up as an agent for change. I hope to help clients develop the skills necessary to be effective agents in their own lives. I attended St. John's University for both my M.S. and PsyD. Throughout my practicum and professional experience, I have worked with a variety of needs, with a primary focus on anxiety-related disorders and depression.
My name is Casey Subero. I am an LMHC in the state of New York and an LPCC in the state of California. I graduated with my master's in Mental Health Counseling from LIU Brooklyn. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and specialize in treating clients with Anxiety, Depression, communication challenges, and anger.
I'm direct, genuinely invested, and not here to just let you vent while nodding along. I've spent six
years working with people who are tired of white-knuckling their way through addiction, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder — and what I've learned is that the people who want real change respond best to a therapist who takes them seriously enough to push them. I will meet you where you are, and I will also challenge you to go further than you thought you could. I believe in you before you
believe in yourself. My style is open-minded, honest, and grounded in the understanding that every
person's path looks different — even when the struggle has the same name.
I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 36 years. I am a clinical psychologist with a PhD from Duke University, and postdoctoral training in couple and family therapy. I work with people struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and anger management; with troubled kids and teens and parents seeking new parenting techniques; with people having trouble getting organized and paying attention; and with people challenged in their ability to form and maintain healthy relationships. I specialize in couple therapy, helping couples to communicate and solve problems more effectively.
