I believe seeking therapy requires courage and is a strength in itself. I currently focus on providing trauma-informed care to children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I've worked in the mental health field for more than 15 years, in acute inpatient psychiatric care and as a psychiatric liaison consultant, primarily in the emergency room setting with a focus on crisis intervention. Much of my earlier work focused on psychiatric assessment, crisis intervention, and helping individuals and families navigate some of their most difficult moments.
Today, I provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and therapy for individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns. I believe good mental health care begins with feeling heard, respected, and understood. I strive to create a warm, judgment-free environment where you can be honest about what you are experiencing and what you would like to change.

Hi! I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who has been working in the mental health field for 9 years with a degree from Stony Brook University. I specialize in working with high-risk clients, individuals with personality disorders and people with complex mental health histories. Rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I help clients understand the patterns that may be keeping them stuck while building practical tools to manage emotions, tolerate distress, and create a life worth living. I show up with my most authentic self which I believe allows my clients to do the same. My practice is for those who want to create meaningful change in their lives.

I read and subscribe to the idea that instead of a patient needing a clinician to offer treatment, a client seeks the assistance of a counselor as more of a confidential teammate for improving a bio-psycho-social aspect of her/his life.

I have spent most of my life helping people be the best versions of themselves, in one capacity or another. As a trauma-responsive counselor, I have several years of professional experience working with adults dealing with a variety of mental health issues (e.g., anxiety, depression, addiction, loss, life transitions, relationship issues, etc.). What is most important to my client is most important to me. I strive to help clients feel safe, heard, and empowered to navigate whatever life handles them.
I believe that everyone has within them an abundant reservoir of love. Oftentimes, our access to this force is obscured by the wear and tear of life - traumatic experiences, structural injustices, interpersonal upheaval, moral injury, spiritual confusion... and the defenses we create to survive in response. At With Love Psychotherapy, my goal is to facilitate a homecoming to this force - for individuals and couples - as they work toward creating a life that feels aligned and meaningful. In this work, there is nothing to be ‘fixed’. There is only the intentional movement toward what serves you.
*I am currently open for new clients for in-person therapy on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Park Slope, Brooklyn, in addition to virtual sessions on weekdays.
*If you schedule a consultation call, I'll send a Google Meet link and very short intake form via email.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I offer a client-centered, trauma-informed, multicultural approach.
