Top therapists in Oregon accepting new patients
Hello, I am accepting new clients. I work with teens, adults, and elders with a focus on chronic health conditions, illness, grief and loss. Reaching out for support takes real courage, and I want to honor that first step. People come to therapy for so many reasons—sometimes because they’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or alone; other times because relationships feel hard, or anxiety and depression are getting in the way of daily life. Whatever has brought you here, you’ll be met with warmth, empathy, and genuine care.
I am Brittany Brookshire, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor working remotely with clients in Illinois and Missouri. I graduated in 2017 with a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Georgia, and I have worked as a school counselor and in private practice.
Many of my clients are between ages 18-50, and I often work with people experiencing depression, anxiety, and adult ADHD. I love being a part of peoples’ journeys through life, and I feel passionately about helping those going through (or healing from) life transitions, religious trauma, abusive relationships, uncertainty in life, grief, stress within marriages, or those just working to love or learn about themselves.
Rebecca earned her Bachelor’s degree in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Portland State University in 2019, followed by a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the same institution in 2022. Areas of study included: Racial Equity in Oregon, Housing for LGBTQIAA+ Seniors in Portland, and anti-oppressive care. Alongside her academic achievements, Rebecca has completed additional post-graduate, on-the-job training in the evaluation and treatment of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), Bipolar Disorders (I and II), and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
I use a person centered approach, meeting you where you are at, identifying strengths, and promoting inner processing through EMDR, somatic awareness, and empowerment. I am also a certified psychedelic assisted therapy provider, providing preparation and integration for psychedelic journeys.
Jessica Correa is a psychologist and licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in complex trauma and fostering meaningful relationships. With a warm yet focused approach, she integrates trauma-focused care, attachment work, EMDR, and Brainspotting. Jessica is deeply committed to creating conscious spaces where clients feel empowered to heal, grow, and thrive.
As a marriage & family therapist, I am experienced in guiding individuals, couples and families as they work through traumatic and complex situations.
I am here to join with you in your journey toward overcoming depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, perinatal distress, postpartum depression or other challenges you may be facing.
Upon request, I also provide Christian counseling to help individuals and families meet both their emotional and spiritual needs.
Therapy with Lived Wisdom
With over 20 years of experience walking alongside individuals on their healing journeys, I bring more than clinical knowledge—I bring lived understanding. My work is rooted in the mind-body connection, because true healing doesn’t just happen in the mind. It happens in the nervous system, in the body, and in the deeper layers of the self.
Choosing a therapist is a sacred step. If you’re wondering how to choose, I invite you to ask: “Do they do their own work? Have they sat in the depths they’ll be guiding me through?”
I have. I’ve lived the unraveling. I’ve done the deep inner work. And I’ve found my way through.
Now, I offer a steady, compassionate presence to help you find yours. You don’t have to do this alone.
Let me walk with you.
I'm Dragosh Negrea, an LCSW and CADC III with 10 years of experience working with people navigating mental health crises and substance use. Most of my career has been on the front lines, running a mobile crisis team, managing a walk-in rapid access clinic, and coordinating care in residential and detox settings, so I've seen recovery happen in the messiest, most real circumstances, not just in the therapy room.
My approach is practical and non-judgmental. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all path to stability, whether you're in active crisis, working through a dual diagnosis, or trying to figure out your relationship with substances, we'll build a plan grounded in where you actually are, using evidence-based practices like ASAM-informed treatment planning and medication-assisted therapy when appropriate. I'm especially comfortable with clients who've been told therapy "didn't work" for them before, or who are wary of clinical settings after difficult experiences with crisis or inpatient care.
I bring a calm, steady presence — the kind you build supervising crisis teams — to sessions that might otherwise feel overwhelming.
