I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Kripalu-trained yoga teacher, and Level 2 Reiki Practitioner.
I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence, balance, and self-compassion. I’ve worked across schools, outpatient mental health, and crisis settings, giving me experience supporting people from many different backgrounds and with a wide range of concerns. My years in crisis work have shaped how I show up as a therapist—grounded, empathetic, calm, and direct. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, burnout, relationship challenges, trauma, grief, people-pleasing, boundary difficulties, and harsh self-criticism.
I believe our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and bodies are deeply connected. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including DBT, TF-CBT, and PRT, alongside mind-body practices to create care that is personalized to each client. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build practical skills, and develop greater resilience and emotional well-being.
I am a Master's level psychotherapist, with a second degree, a Master's in Social Work (LCSW). My areas of specialization include; trauma informed work through a family systems lens, including treating sexual abuse , and other forms of abuse and treating related PTSD.
I also have expertise in working with couples and addressing the impact of family history that each partner brings into the relationship which may be creating conflict.
When working with couples I am very mindful of the importance of balancing support so that both people feel that they are equally heard.
My other areas of focus include working with teens and addressing parent-child conflict. My training in family therapy includes Multi-systemic Therapy (MST ) and Functional Family Therapy (FFT). The former looks at the role of the family members and the community in supporting the youth and in eliminating negative behaviors. The latter, FFT looks at the roles of family members and the function of relationships in supporting change for the youth. I also have training in Trauma Systems Therapy which looks at the impact of trauma on the individual/child and the family to improve overall functioning.
My strengths include my warm, caring and non judgmental approach. I am an excellent listener , and am very genuine clinician. I believe that engaging my clients and building trust is essential to meaningful results. I understand that the decision to enter therapy in not an easy one. I consider myself a co-pilot on the journey. You are the expert on your life experience.

Choosing a therapist is a daunting task. Do you go down a rabbit hole googling various types of therapy and online profiles or do you go with your gut? That's up to you. I will tell you that extensive research asserts that success in therapy is not dependent upon the strategies or modalities the clinician employs, but on the strength of the therapeutic relationship. Is the therapeutic relationship a positive one? Do you feel heard and supported? Does this person understand me? Do we click?
